Job Type: Full-Time, Over-the-Road (OTR)

Home Time: Average 10-14 days out, with planned reset options near the I-64 / US-23 corridor

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional CDL-A driver to represent our fleet out of the Huntington, WV area. This is a dedicated OTR role covering the eastern United States with a strong focus on the I-64, I-77, I-79, and US-35 lanes, including runs into Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the Carolinas. You will be hauling dry van freight with a mix of drop-and-hook and live unloads, ensuring steady miles and predictable scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL with a minimum of 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience (no exceptions).
  • Clean MVR: no more than 1 preventable accident or 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
  • Zero DUIs or drug-related convictions in the past 5 years.
  • No more than 1 preventable DOT-recordable accident in the past 2 years.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Ability to operate a 10-speed manual or automated manual transmission (training on our specific equipment is provided).

Compensation & Weekly Pay

  • Average weekly earnings scale: $1,450 – $1,750 (based on 2,500 – 3,000 miles per week).
  • Mileage pay: $0.55 – $0.62 per mile, with a per-mile increase after 6 months.
  • Stop pay: $25 per stop (includes all loading, unloading, and detention time after 2 hours).
  • Detention pay: $20 per hour after the first 2 hours of wait time.
  • Layover pay: $150 per day (if applicable).
  • Weekly direct deposit or pay card options, with settlement every Friday.

Equipment & Fleet

  • All tractors are model year 2023 or newer (average fleet age under 18 months).
  • Freightliner Cascadia and International LT series, equipped with APUs, inverter (1500W), and dual 100-gallon fuel tanks.
  • 53-foot dry van trailers, all with aerodynamic skirts and GPS tracking.
  • Automatic traction control, forward collision mitigation, and lane departure warning systems.
  • Pre-pass and electronic logging devices (ELD) standard – no forced dispatch on home time.
