Class A CDL Truck Driver – Redding, CA

Job Type: Full-Time, Dedicated Regional
Home Time: Weekly home time (34-hour reset)
Compensation: Up to $1,750 weekly ceiling (based on experience and lane assignments)

Position Overview

Join our Redding, CA-based fleet and run consistent, lane-specific routes that keep you close to the Pacific Northwest and Northern California corridors. We are seeking professional Class A CDL drivers who value predictability, modern equipment, and a safety-first culture. This is a localized position designed for drivers who want to be home weekly while maximizing earnings.

Minimum Qualifications (Strict)

  • Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience (no recent graduates).
  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean medical card (DOT physical).
  • No more than 1 preventable accident (any type) in the last 2 years.
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
  • Zero DUIs or drug/alcohol-related convictions in the last 5 years (and no pattern of such).
  • Must be able to pass a road test, background check, and pre-employment drug screen.
  • No failed or refused DOT drug or alcohol tests in the past 3 years.

Safety Gate Requirements

Our safety standards are non-negotiable. All applicants must clear the following gates:

  • Preventable accident threshold: maximum 1 in the previous 24 months (including minor incidents).
  • Moving violation threshold: maximum 2 in the previous 24 months (speeding, failure to obey traffic control, etc.).
  • Zero DUIs or OUI violations (including personal vehicle) in the last 5 years.
  • No reckless driving or hit-and-run violations in the last 5 years.
  • No more than one license suspension in the last 3 years (non-DUI related).

Typical Weekly Schedule

  • Dispatch Monday AM from Redding yard; run regional routes with 2 to 4 stops per load.
  • Average 2,100 to 2,400 miles per week within the defined corridors.
  • Home by Friday evening or Saturday morning for a 34-hour reset.
  • No slip-seating. Dedicated truck and trailer assignment.
