Class A CDL Truck Driver - Nacogdoches
Job Description:
Class A CDL Truck Driver – Nacogdoches, TX
Your home time is sacred. Your equipment is late-model. Your route keeps you close to the Piney Woods and back. This is a localized driving opportunity built for professional Class A CDL drivers who want consistent miles, predictable lanes, and a fleet that respects the driver behind the wheel.
We are hiring immediately for a dedicated regional position operating out of the Nacogdoches, TX area. You will run freight that keeps you within a comfortable radius of East Texas, hitting key corridors through Lufkin, Tyler, Longview, Shreveport, and south toward Huntsville. No coast-to-coast marathons. No forced dispatch into the unknown. Just steady, well-planned freight with a carrier that values safety above speed.
What You Must Have to Qualify
- A minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience. This is not a training position.
- A clean safety record that meets our strict gate: no more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
- Zero DUIs or alcohol-related convictions in the last 5 years. This is non-negotiable.
- Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical card.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and road test.
Your Truck and Your Lane
You will not be climbing into a decade-old hand-me-down. Our entire fleet is late-model, with all tractors under 18 months old. Every truck is equipped with modern safety systems, automatic transmissions, and comfortable sleeper amenities. You will be running a mix of dry van and refrigerated freight, with well-maintained trailers that match the age of our power units.
Your primary operating lanes will center on the I-69 and US-59 corridor, with regular runs through Nacogdoches, Lufkin, and up to the I-20 corridor via Tyler and Longview. You will also see consistent freight into Shreveport, LA and down toward the Huntsville, TX area. This is a localized footprint, which means you will be home more often and spend less time idling in faraway truck stops.
Weekly Pay Scale and Earning Potential
We are targeting a weekly pay scale that sits at a $1,750 ceiling for drivers who run consistent, safe miles. Your actual weekly earnings will be based on a competitive per-mile rate plus stop pay and loading/unloading compensation. Drivers who run the full schedule and maintain on-time performance will see paychecks that reflect that $1,750 target range. There is no penny-pinching on accessorial pay, and we do not hide pay in complicated bonus structures. What you earn is what you see.
Health Blueprint and Benefits
Your health is part of your professional toolkit. We provide a comprehensive health blueprint that includes:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting as early as the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
- Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability.
- 401(k) with a company match after your first year.
- Paid time off and sick leave accrued from day one.
- Access to a 24/7 telemedicine network for you and your family.
Pet and Rider Options
We know that life on the road is better with company. That is why our policy is driver-friendly:
- Pets are welcome. You can bring your dog or cat with you on the truck after your first 30 days, with no breed restrictions. We just ask that you keep your pet restrained while the truck is in motion.
- Riders are allowed after 90 days of safe employment
