CDL-A Regional Truck Driver – Salina, KS

Job Type: Full-Time Regional | Home Time: Weekly Home Time | Equipment: Late-Model Fleet (Under 18 Months)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CDL-A Regional Truck Driver to run dedicated lanes out of the Salina, KS hub. This is a high-frequency, lanes-focused regional role designed for drivers who value consistent miles, modern equipment, and a schedule that brings you home weekly. You will haul freight primarily within the I-70, I-135, and I-35 corridors, covering Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Nebraska, with occasional runs into Iowa and Arkansas.

Compensation & Weekly Scale

Our top regional drivers consistently hit the $1,750 weekly ceiling based on a blend of per-mile and stop pay. Average weekly earnings range from $1,450 to $1,750. You will also receive:

  • Mileage pay: $0.58 - $0.65 per mile based on experience
  • Stop pay: $25 per stop (average 8-12 stops per week)
  • Weekly performance bonus: up to $150 for on-time delivery and clean inspection
  • Direct deposit, paid every Friday

Minimum Qualifications (Strict Gate Requirements)

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years.
  • Safety Record: No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years. No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
  • Clean Background: Zero DUIs or drug-related convictions in the last 5 years. No license suspensions for moving violations in the last 3 years.
  • Documentation: Valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and road test.
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer within regional lanes, primarily on interstate highways.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any equipment issues immediately.
  • Secure cargo using appropriate techniques (tarps, straps, chains as needed).
  • Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with all hours-of-service regulations.
  • Communicate with dispatch on delays, route changes, and delivery appointments.
  • Provide excellent customer service at pick-up and delivery sites.
