Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL-A Regional Truck Driver to run dedicated freight lanes connecting the greater Rochester/Finger Lakes region with key distribution hubs across the Northeast and Midwest. This is a home-weekly role designed for drivers who value consistent miles, modern equipment, and a company that respects your time on the road and at home.
Minimum Qualification: At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months. No recent graduates or students.

- Localized Corridors: Primary routes include I-390, I-90 (Thruway), I-490, NY-5, and NY-19. Typical runs take you through Buffalo, Syracuse, Erie (PA), Cleveland (OH), and Harrisburg (PA). You will sleep in your own bed most nights, with occasional 1-2 night runs max.
- Late-Model Fleet: All trucks are 2023 or newer (under 18 months old). Freightliner Cascadia and Volvo VNL 760s with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverter (1500W), and in-cab navigation included.
- Weekly Pay Scale: Average $1,650 – $1,750 per week to start. Top-end earners on this regional account hit the $1,750 ceiling consistently by running 2,200 – 2,400 miles weekly with tarp pay on select loads.
- Health Blueprint: Full medical, dental, and vision plans starting day 1. Company-paid life insurance and a 401(k) match after 90 days. Telemedicine included for all drivers and dependents.
- Pet & Rider Policy: Pets welcome after 2 weeks of employment (one-time $50 cleanup deposit). Rider program available after 30 days – riders can join you on all regional routes.
Strict Safety Gate Requirements
We operate a safety-first culture. To be considered, your record must pass the following gate:
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years (major or minor).
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years (speeding, failure to yield, etc.).
- Zero DUIs or alcohol-related convictions in the last 5 years. No exceptions.
- No felony convictions within the last 7 years; no drug or alcohol-related license suspensions.
What We Haul & Daily Routine
- Freight: Mixed dry van – primarily automotive parts, food-grade products, and retail goods. 80% no-touch freight. Light hand unload occasionally required (pallet jack only).
- Dispatch: You will be pre-planned 2 days in advance. Dedicated dispatch team located in Avon, NY – no out-of-state dispatchers. You speak with the same 3 people every week.
- Home Time: 34-hour reset at home every weekend (Fri evening – Mon morning). Optional mid-week home time available on request.
- Orientation: 2-day paid orientation in Avon, NY. Hotel and meals covered. You will be home every night during orientation.
