Job Description:

Class A CDL Tractor-Trailer Driver

Location: Fort Smith, AR
Job Type: Full-Time, Regional/OTR
Iteration: 23

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional Class A CDL Tractor-Trailer Driver to join our Fort Smith-based fleet. This role is built for drivers who value modern equipment, consistent miles, and a company that respects your time on the road and at home. You will primarily run corridors connecting Fort Smith to Dallas/Fort Worth, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Kansas City, and Little Rock, with occasional routes extending to the Gulf Coast and the Midwest.

Minimum Experience Required: A verifiable minimum of 3 months of Class A CDL tractor-trailer driving experience. This is a non-negotiable safety and compliance standard.

Why Drive With Us?

  • Late-Model Fleet: All tractors are 18 months old or newer, equipped with automatic transmissions, collision mitigation systems, and comfortable sleeper berths. No aging equipment, no breakdown delays.
  • Consistent Weekly Earnings: Target weekly gross scale sits around a $1,750 ceiling. Strong drivers can consistently reach this range through a combination of per-mile pay, stop pay, and performance incentives.
  • Health Blueprint: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans available after 30 days. We also offer a wellness reimbursement program for gym memberships, physical therapy, and preventive care.
  • Pet and Rider Policy: We allow a well-behaved pet (dog or cat) to accompany you after your first 30 days. Rider approval is available for a spouse or dependent after 90 days of safe driving.
  • Home Time: 34-hour resets every 2 to 3 weeks, with the option for dedicated lanes that get you home weekly.

Localized Corridors and Freight

Our primary freight lanes are designed to keep you familiar with the terrain and parking options across the region. Expect to run:

  • Fort Smith to Dallas/Fort Worth via I-40 and I-35 (dry van, drop-and-hook)
  • Fort Smith to Memphis via I-40 (retail and food-grade freight)
  • Fort Smith to Oklahoma City and Tulsa via I-40 and I-44 (auto parts and consumer goods)
  • Fort Smith to Kansas City via I-49 and I-470 (appliances and building materials)
  • Occasional runs to Little Rock, Shreveport, and Houston for overflow freight

All routes are chosen to maximize your driving time and minimize extended layovers. You will never be forced into unknown or high-risk parking areas without a clear plan.

Safety Gate Requirements

We enforce a strict safety gate to protect you, your load, and the motoring public. To be considered, your record must meet these standards:

  • No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years (as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines).
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, regardless of type (including speeding, improper lane change, or failure to obey traffic control devices).
  • Zero DUIs or any alcohol-related convictions in the last 5 years.
  • No positive drug or alcohol test results in your employment history.
  • No more than 2 jobs in the last 12 months (stability is important, but we understand seasonal work).

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and efficiently in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any mechanical issues immediately to dispatch.</li
