We are seeking a seasoned CDL-A driver who values clean safety records, late-model equipment, and a dispatch team that respects your time. If you can navigate the I-95/91 merge at rush hour without breaking a sweat and know the difference between a Connecticut left and a Massachusetts merge, this seat is yours.

  • No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years.
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
  • Zero DUIs or alcohol-related convictions in the last 5 years.
  • Clean DOT physical and ability to pass a substance abuse screening.

Localized Routes & Corridors

You will run primary lanes out of New Haven, CT, servicing the I-91 corridor up to Springfield, MA, then west on I-84 to Hartford and into the Newburgh, NY freight zone. Secondary lanes include the I-95 coastal run down to Bridgeport and Stamford, with overnight hauls into the Lehigh Valley, PA and the greater Albany, NY market. Expect a mix of drop-and-hook and live unloads at distribution centers in New Britain, CT; Worcester, MA; and Allentown, PA.

Fleet & Equipment

  • Late-model fleet: 2023 or newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth T680 models.
  • Average truck age: 14 months. No trucks over 18 months old.
  • All units equipped with APU, inverter, satellite radio, and in-cab dual-zone climate control.
  • Automated manual transmissions (AMT) standard. No manual shift required.

Compensation & Weekly Scale

  • Pay model: 68 cents per mile plus stop pay ($25 per stop after the second stop).
  • Target weekly average: $1,550 to $1,750 ceiling for drivers running 2,400+ miles per week.
  • Performance bonus: $500 quarterly for zero preventable accidents and perfect on-time delivery.

Health Blueprint & Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting day one.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) with company match of $250 per quarter.
  • Telehealth services for on-the-road consultations.
  • Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability.

Pet & Rider Options

  • Pet policy: Dogs and cats welcome after a 30-day probationary period. No weight limit, but breeds must be disclosed.
  • Rider policy: Approved riders (spouse or dependent) may accompany you after 60 days of employment. Rider must complete a safety orientation in New Haven.

Safety Gate & Compliance

Our safety standards are strict. You must be able to maintain a clean MVR and DAC report. Any incident involving a preventable accident, a moving violation, or DUI will permanently disqualify you from this position. We run a weekly safety review with your dispatch team, and any red flags will be addressed immediately.
