Job Description:

CDL-A Regional Truck Driver – El Centro, CA

Are you a professional Class A driver who values home time without sacrificing pay? We are seeking a CDL-A Regional Truck Driver to operate dedicated freight lanes connecting the Imperial Valley with key distribution hubs across the Southwest. This is an over-the-road regional position, averaging 2,100 to 2,400 miles per week, with a weekly earning potential that peaks near the $1,750 ceiling. You will be home weekly, running consistent routes that utilize the modern infrastructure of I-8, I-10, and I-15.

This is a position for seasoned drivers who understand the importance of safety, compliance, and punctuality. We do not train. You must bring verifiable experience and a clean record. In return, we offer one of the youngest fleets in the region and a dispatch team that respects your time.

Your Core Responsibility

You will be the captain of a late-model tractor, tasked with the safe and timely delivery of freight. Your lanes will primarily be from El Centro eastward through Yuma, Arizona, and into Phoenix, then north to the distribution centers in Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, California. Occasional runs to Las Vegas and Salt Lake City may be dispatched. You will handle drop-and-hook freight, minimizing your time at the dock and maximizing your time on the road.

Non-Negotiable Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience (no exceptions).
  • Valid and current Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Current DOT medical card.
  • No more than 1 preventable accident within the past 2 years.
  • No more than 2 moving violations (including speeding) within the past 2 years.
  • Zero DUIs or any alcohol-related convictions within the past 5 years.
  • No positive drug or alcohol test results.
  • Clean background check, free of any felony convictions within the past 10 years.
  • Ability to pass a thorough road test and pre-employment screening.

Fleet and Equipment Standards

We strictly operate a late-model fleet, ensuring every truck is under 18 months old. You will be assigned a 2023 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or similar model, equipped with:

  • Automatic transmissions (no manual shifting required).
  • Collision mitigation systems and lane departure warnings.
  • 130-inch mid-roof sleepers with full-size bunks.
  • Inverter (1500W) for standard electronics.
  • APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) for climate control without idling.
  • Pre-pass and toll transponders provided.

Compensation and Pay Structure

Your weekly earnings are structured to reward consistent, safe performance. The target weekly scale sits around a $1,750 ceiling, though exact pay is based on verified miles and stops.

  • Rate: $0.68 per mile (base).
  • Stop pay: $35 per stop after the second stop.
  • Weekly guarantee: $1,250 (if you run all dispatched miles without fault).
  • Performance bonus: Up to $150 per week for on-time delivery and zero safety violations.
  • Direct deposit weekly, every Friday.

Example: Running 2,300 miles at $0.68 equals $1,564. Add an average of 4 stops ($70) and a clean safety bonus ($116 average) to reach approximately $1,750.

Health and Wellness Blueprint
