Location: Binghamton, NY (Home base and primary dispatch corridor: I-81, I-86, NY-17, and routes serving the Southern Tier, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and the greater Northeast region)
Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, safety-first Class A CDL Company Driver to represent our fleet operating out of the Binghamton, NY terminal. This is a dedicated, regional position that values predictability, equipment reliability, and driver well-being. You will haul dry van freight across established Northeast corridors, with a focus on routes between Binghamton, Syracuse, Albany, Allentown, and Harrisburg. This role is designed for drivers who want consistent miles, modern equipment, and a company that treats the truck as a profession, not a number.
Minimum Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience (must be documented and confirmable).
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean medical card and no automatic transmission restrictions (manual or automatic, both accepted; no learner's permit or probationary license).
- Strict safety gate requirement: No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
- Zero DUIs or alcohol-related convictions in the last 5 years (no exceptions).
- No more than 2 total moving violations in the last 3 years for the final review.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, road test, and background check (criminal and employment).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Residence within 100 miles of Binghamton, NY, or willing to relocate without company sponsorship.
Fleet Equipment & Technology
- Drive late-model tractors, all under 18 months old, with no units older than 2024 model year.
- Fully spec'd for comfort: automatic transmissions, air-ride suspension, APU (auxiliary power unit), inverter, and in-cab refrigerator.
- 53-foot dry van trailers with aerodynamic skirts and lift gates (where required).
- All units equipped with ELD, forward-facing dash camera, and real-time telematics for route optimization.
- Weekly PM inspections and a dedicated maintenance team at the Binghamton yard to minimize downtime.
Pay & Weekly Compensation Scale
- Target weekly gross ceiling: $1,750 (based on 2,500-2,800 miles per week, plus performance and safety bonuses).
- Pay structure: Base per mile plus stop pay, detention, and layover pay.
- Per diem option available (tax-advantaged) if you qualify.
- Weekly settlement, direct deposit, and a transparent pay stub with no hidden deductions.
- Mileage pay is reviewed quarterly for fuel and efficiency adjustments.
Home Time & Route Corridors
- Home weekly – typically 34-hour reset at home, with occasional mid-week home time on short hauls.
- Primary lanes: Binghamton to Syracuse (I-81), Binghamton to Albany (I-88), Binghamton to Allentown/Harrisburg (I-81/I-78), and regional runs to Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and the Lehigh Valley.
- No NYC boroughs, no Canada, and no off-route or forced dispatch.
