Position Overview
We are seeking a professional CDL-A OTR Truck Driver to run consistent, high-mileage routes originating from the Logandale, NV corridor. This is a solo, over-the-road position with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and late-model equipment. You will haul dry van freight across the Western U.S. and beyond, with a predictable lane structure that maximizes your weekly earning potential while respecting your time on the road.
Minimum Qualifications (Strict Gate Requirements)
- Verifiable Class A CDL with a minimum of 3 months of actual tractor-trailer driving experience (no exceptions).
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years (all accidents reviewed).
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years (including but not limited to speeding, failure to obey traffic control devices, or improper lane changes).
- Zero DUIs or any alcohol/drug-related convictions in the last 5 years (no exceptions).
- Clean background check, no felony convictions, and no more than 2 minor convictions in the last 5 years.
- Must be able to pass a full DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
Localized Route & Freight Corridors
As a Logandale-based driver, you will primarily run these regional and OTR corridors:
- I-15 North through Mesquite, UT and into Salt Lake City, then east on I-80 toward Cheyenne, WY.
- I-15 South to Las Vegas, then I-40 East through Kingman, AZ, Flagstaff, AZ, and into Albuquerque, NM.
- US-93 South through Wickenburg, AZ, and into Phoenix for intermodal and retail freight.
- I-10 West to Ontario, CA and the greater Los Angeles basin, with backhaul loads returning through Barstow, CA.
- Seasonal lanes into the Pacific Northwest via I-84, including Boise, ID and Portland, OR.
Typical runs keep you out 12 to 14 days, with scheduled home time in the Logandale / Moapa Valley area every other weekend.
Compensation & Weekly Scale
- Starting pay: $0.58 per mile (loaded and empty).
- Target weekly scale: $1,600 to $1,750 per week (based on 2,400 to 2,900 miles weekly).
- Mileage bonus: Additional $0.03 per mile after 2,500 miles in a single week.
- Stop pay: $25 per stop (up to 4 stops per load).
- Layover/broker pay: $150 per day, applied after 24 hours of waiting.
- Detention pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours.
- Weekly direct deposit, paperless pay stubs, and a per diem option available.
Fleet & Equipment
- 2023 to 2025 model Freightliner Cascadia and International LT tractors.
- All tractors are equipped with automatic transmissions, collision mitigation, lane departure warning, and in-cab camera systems (outward facing only).
- Dry van trailers: 53-foot, 2023 or newer, with swing doors and liftgate options on select accounts.
- Top speed governed at 68 mph.
- APU units on all tractors for climate control and reduced idle time.
