CDL-A OTR Truck Driver – Champaign, IL

Based out of the crossroads of Illinois, our Champaign terminal is your launchpad for consistent, high-mileage OTR routes that keep you moving through the Midwest, South, and East Coast corridors. We are seeking professional Class A drivers who value late-model equipment, transparent pay, and a safety-first culture that respects your time on the road and your time at home.
Position Highlights
- Route Network: Primary lanes include I-57, I-74, I-72, and I-55, with regular freight into Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Memphis, and Atlanta. Occasional runs to the Eastern Seaboard via I-70 and I-40.
- Weekly Pay Scale: Target $1,750 per week ceiling for experienced drivers running consistent miles. Pay is per mile with stop pay, detention, and breakdown compensation.
- Late-Model Fleet: All tractors are 2024 or newer, equipped with APUs, inverter systems, and in-cab Wi-Fi. Average fleet age is under 18 months.
- Home Time: OTR rotations of 12 to 14 days out, with 2 to 3 days of home time. Flexible scheduling available for drivers who prefer longer runs.

Safety Gate Requirements
To ensure a secure and professional fleet, all applicants must pass the following safety gates:
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience.
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
- Zero DUIs or alcohol-related convictions in the last 5 years.
- Clean DOT physical and drug screen.
What You Bring
- Valid Class A CDL with no automatic restriction (manual transmission endorsement preferred).
- Strong knowledge of DOT hours of service, logbook compliance (ELD), and securement procedures.
- Ability to manage dispatch communication, navigate route changes, and maintain on-time delivery records.
- Professional appearance and communication skills when representing our brand at customer sites.
Compensation and Benefits Summary
- Average $0.55 to $0.62 per mile based on experience and tenure.
- Weekly guarantee of $1,100 for drivers who complete 2,200 miles in a week.
- Referral bonus: $1,500 for each qualified driver who stays 90 days.
