Are you a professional Class A CDL driver who values time at home, a predictable route, and equipment that actually respects your back? This is not a generic over-the-road position. This is a St. Joseph-based company driver role built around the corridors you know, with a fleet that is never more than 18 months old. We are looking for a safety-first operator who wants to run consistent miles, earn a solid weekly check, and be treated like a professional, not a number.

You will run predictable routes that keep you within striking distance of home, with a dispatch team that communicates clearly and respects your time. Localized Route Corridors

Your weekly runs will focus on the heartland, including the following high-frequency lanes:

  • I-29 north to Kansas City and Omaha, with occasional runs to Sioux City.
  • US-36 east to Chillicothe and Hannibal, connecting to the Midwest distribution network.
  • I-35 south to the Kansas City metro and Des Moines, with potential drop-and-hook freight.
  • US-169 north to Maryville and into southern Iowa.

Expect a mix of drop-and-hook and live unloads, with a focus on no-touch freight. You will be home multiple times per week, and most shifts end within a 250-mile radius of St. Joseph.

Compensation & Weekly Pay Scale

Your time on the road should pay for more than just fuel. We target a weekly pay ceiling that puts you in the top tier of regional drivers:

  • Target Weekly Scale: Up to $1,750 per week for consistent, safe performance.
  • Pay Structure: Based on a combination of CPM (cents per mile) plus stop pay and detention pay for any wait time beyond two hours.
  • Guaranteed Minimum: Weekly minimum guarantee ensures that you are never left with a short check due to factors outside your control.
  • Direct Deposit: Weekly payroll with a clear, itemized pay stub every Friday.

Fleet & Equipment Standards

We do not run junk. Every truck in our fleet is under 18 months old, and we rotate our equipment on a strict schedule. You will be assigned to one of the following late-model tractors:

  • 2023 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or International LT series.
  • Automatic transmissions only; no manual shifting required.
  • All trucks equipped with collision mitigation, lane departure warning, and in-cab telematics for route optimization.
  • Fully equipped 73-inch sleeper or day cab (based on your preference and route needs).
  • Refrigerated and dry van trailers with lift gates available depending on the lane.

If a truck has an issue, we fix it immediately. Our average fleet downtime is under 12 hours, and we never force a driver to run a defective vehicle.
